1. Data Controller
Under Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("KVKK"), your personal data is processed by Dbgaze Bilgi Teknolojileri ("dbgaze") as data controller within the scope described below. Contact: Deposite İş ve Outlet Merkezi, A1 Blok 325A, İkitelli, Başakşehir / İstanbul · kvkk@dbgaze.com.
2. Categories of Personal Data Processed
- Identity data: name.
- Contact data: email address.
- Customer transaction data: account, organization and subscription records.
- Transaction security data: IP address, session/login logs, audit and consent records.
- Financial data: on paid plans, billing information (card data is processed by the payment provider).
3. Data Not Collected
Query text / SQL content from your monitored databases is not processed or collected; only aggregate numeric metrics are processed. This is adopted as a requirement of the data-minimization principle (KVKK Art. 4).
4. Purposes of Processing
- Creating and managing your membership/account.
- Providing the database monitoring, alerting and reporting service.
- Establishing and performing the contract and carrying out billing processes.
- Ensuring information security and preventing abuse and fraud.
- Meeting legal obligations and responding to requests.
- If you give explicit consent, sending commercial electronic messages (announcements/marketing).
5. Legal Bases for Processing (KVKK Art. 5)
- Being directly related to the establishment or performance of a contract (account, service and billing).
- Compliance with the data controller's legal obligations.
- Our legitimate interests, provided your fundamental rights are not harmed (security, abuse prevention).
- Your explicit consent (only for sending commercial electronic messages).
6. Method of Collection
Your personal data is collected through the registration form, your use of the Service and the agent installed on your server, by automated and non-automated means in electronic form.
7. Transfers
Your personal data may be shared, limited to the purposes above, with infrastructure and payment providers necessary to operate the Service, under contractual confidentiality. Legally required transfers to authorized public bodies are reserved. Data is not transferred abroad.
8. Retention Period
Your personal data is retained while your account is active and for the retention periods stipulated by applicable law. Metrics are kept for your plan's retention period. At the end of these periods or on deletion of your account, your data is deleted, destroyed or anonymized in accordance with the law.
9. Rights of the Data Subject (KVKK Art. 11)
Under KVKK Article 11 you have the following rights:
- To learn whether your personal data is processed and, if so, to request information about it.
- To learn the purpose of processing and whether the data is used in line with that purpose.
- To know the third parties to whom data is transferred, domestically or abroad.
- To request correction of incomplete/incorrect data and, under the conditions of the KVKK, its deletion/destruction.
- To request that correction/deletion be notified to third parties to whom data was transferred.
- To object to a result against you arising from automated analysis of your data.
- To claim compensation for damage suffered due to unlawful processing.
10. How to Apply
To exercise the rights above, you may submit your requests in writing to kvkk@dbgaze.com or to our support channels, together with information verifying your identity. Your requests are concluded within the periods stipulated by the KVKK.
